Pour cette raison, on propose une lecture analytique qui détermine le lien énigmatique existant entre Ray et cet être spectral à partir des notions freudiennes d'Unheimlich et Heimlich, qui se focalisent sur le doute qui naît de la rencontre entre l'inconnu et le familier. El artículo se centra en el cuento «Mi fantasma (el hombrecillo del pañuelo rojo)» del escritor belga Jean Ray, quien también se configura como protagonista y en el cual se debate entre su alteridad y su mismidad frente a las apariciones de su fantasma personal, a lo largo de su vida. Por ello, se propone una lectura analítica para determinar el enigmático lazo existente entre Ray y este ser espectral a partir de las nociones freudianas de Unheimlich y Heimlich, las cuales se centran en la duda que surge del encuentro entre lo desconocido y lo familiar.
