Nowadays, online arbitration offers its participants significant time and financial cost savings; it is efficient and fast, so the trend to use it is increasing and irreversible. Online arbitration maintains its inherent nature; it transforms the infrastructure where the process is developed into an electronic environment. Therefore, it is important to implement good practices to adequately inform and guide the activity of participants in a digital environment. This study presents a set of good practices to apply in the context of online arbitration, which contributes to an informed management of this type of arbitration. Las tecnologías de la información brindan herramientas informáticas que permiten implementar la solución de controversias en línea, incluido el arbitraje. Actualmente el arbitraje en línea ofrece a sus participantes un importante ahorro en tiempo y costo financiero, es medio eficiente y rápido, por lo que la tendencia a su empleo es creciente e irreversible. El arbitraje en línea mantiene su naturaleza como tal, se transforma la infraestructura en la cual se desarrolla el proceso a un entorno electrónico, por ende, es importante utilizar buenas prácticas que informen y orienten adecuadamente la actividad de los participantes en el ambiente digital. En este estudio se presentan un grupo de buenas prácticas a aplicar en el contexto del arbitraje en línea que contribuye a una gestión informada del arbitraje en línea.
