A quantitative descriptive survey research design was employed. The data were collected from 676 adolescents enrolled in high schools, junior colleges and universities in Belize using an online survey with four sections: Demographics, Grit-S Scale, Academic behaviors, and Apprehensions about returning to face-to-face learning. Descriptive statistics revealed that adolescents’ academic behaviors and grit were mostly at the medium level and their apprehensions about returning to face-to-face learning were high. Pearson’s r correlation coefficients revealed a positive significant relationship between adolescents’ levels of academic behaviors and grit. This research can provide educators and parents with insights on students' cognitive and noncognitive development to better prepare programs and support systems to foster students' success in school and life.
