Yet, I believe it is appropriate to write the following lines to reflect on the importance of learning the English language for the specialists in the field. I write this article from my experience in the field of teaching English language. I would like this article to be taken as my particular contribution, from my profesional vision, and not as an endedjournalistic article. Aseries ofthoughts on the advantages and opportunities that knowing the English Language are presented. Aunque no pretendo entrometerme en la especialidad de los periodistas, a quienes admiro y respeto por su profesión, me parece oportuno escribir las siguientes líneas para reflexionar sobre la importancia del aprendizaje del idioma Inglés en el ejercicio de esta profesión. El enfoque del presente artículo lo hago desde mi experiencia en el campo de la enseñanza y aprendizaje del idioma Ingles. Quiero que se tome como un aporte particular desde mi visión profesional y no como un artículo periodístico acabado, se hacen una serie de valoraciones sobre las ventajas y oportunidades que ofrece el dominio del idioma Inglés.
