Uno de los modelos más am-pliamente utilizados en la región centroamericana es denominado Método Mora-Vahrson, del cual se analizaran ex-poste al terremoto de Cinchona, con la finalidad de valorar su precisión, en virtud de su simplicidad y fácil aplicación.
