To collect data, three instruments were used, a questionnaire to determine the methodology and previous knowledge of the teacher, a second questionnaire to assess the workshop, facilitator and outcomes of the workshop, and a final questionnaire for the teacher to carry out a SWOT analysis of three oral tasks created using Web 2.0 tools. The data collected were analyzed based on predetermined categories of analysis. In general, the findings obtained point to the fact that teachers are willing to implement and find the use of Web 2.0 tools helpful when aiming to promote the use of the speaking skill outside the classes.
