To the extent that a society does not accommodate all the people who comprise it for full enjoyment (health, work, education, culture, housing, recreation, among others), to that extent human work loses its capacity for social transformation. In this line of thought, the concept of human capital becomes an economic category that disguises the contradictions of existing social classes, to separate the subject from work itself. By eliminating the subjectivity of work, class contradictions are eliminated. The construction of a society in which all fit and all goes through work; in other words, there could not be no work without subject and subject without work. Este artículo pretende realizar una crítica al concepto de capital humano y su relación con la educación y el desarrollo socioeconómico. En la medida en que una sociedad no les dé cabida a todas las personas que la conforman para el disfrute pleno (salud, trabajo, educación, cultura, vivienda, recreación, entre otros), el trabajo humano pierde su capacidad de trasformación social. En esta línea de pensamiento, el concepto de capital humano pasa a ser una categoría económica que disfraza las contradicciones de clases sociales existentes, para desligar al sujeto del trabajo mismo. Al eliminar la subjetividad del trabajo, se eliminan las contradicciones de clase. La construcción de una sociedad en la cual quepan todos pasa por el trabajo, en otras palabras, no pude haber trabajo sin sujeto y sujeto sin trabajo.
