Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in the Republic of Angola, committed to the development of Angolan society, have reviewed their policies to implement information and communication technologies (ICT) to help teachers to succeed and increase their teaching awareness and train the students. The methodological difficulties in implementing digital platforms from 2020-2022 in Angolan Higher Education and the adjustments made due to COVID-19 are still drawbacks for the appropriation of the knowledge to solve problems. Objective. To diagnose the current situation in the management of ICT in the HEIs of Angola. Methodology. The research was conducted with a descriptive project based on the qualitative and quantitative methodology, and the information was processed with the IBM SPSS Statistics 20 software program. Results. From the application, processing, and interpretation of the questionnaires applied to specialists, it is possible to infer that the use of technological resources can improve good educational practices concerning the possibility of personalized attention to the students, considering the needs and potentialities observed in the process of formation. Conclusions. The engaged participation of the researchers made it possible to conclude that it is essential to carry out pedagogical improvement courses in educational technology to achieve better levels of efficiency in developing the teaching-educational process in distance education (DE). Recommendation. The creation of conditions is needed for virtual teaching practices in Angolan HEIs. Introducción. Las instituciones de educación superior (IES), en la República de Angola, comprometidas con el progreso de la sociedad angoleña, han replanteado sus políticas de implementación de las tecnologías de la información y comunicación (TIC), para la superación del personal docente y la formación del estudiantado. No obstante, las insuficiencias metodológicas en la aplicación de las plataformas digitales en el período de 2020 a 2022, en la enseñanza superior angoleña y las adecuaciones curriculares realizadas a raíz de la pandemia de COVID-19, aún limitan la apropiación de los conocimientos para la solución de los problemas. Objetivo. Diagnosticar la situación actual de la gestión de las TIC en las IES angoleñas. Metodología. La pesquisa fue desarrollada con el diseño metodológico descriptivo basado en el enfoque cuali-cuantitativo con la aplicación del software IBM SPSS Statistics 20, para el procesamiento de la información. Resultados. A partir de la aplicación, procesamiento e interpretación de las encuestas a especialistas, se llegó a inferir que la utilización de los recursos tecnológicos puede mejorar las buenas prácticas educativas, en cuanto a la posibilidad de una atención personalizada a estudiantes, si se atienden las carencias y potencialidades observadas en el proceso de formación. Conclusiones. La participación comprometida del colectivo investigador permitió concluir que es imprescindible la realización de cursos de superación en tecnologías educativas para lograr mejores índices de eficacia en el desarrollo del proceso docente-educativo en la educación a distancia (EaD). Recomendación. Que se generen espacios para prácticas docentes virtuales en las IES angoleñas. Introdução. As Instituições de Educação Superior (IES) na República de Angola, implementam suas políticas de Tecnologias de Informação e Comunicação (TIC), para a superação de professores e a formação de estudantes, comprometidos com o progresso da sociedade angolana. Não obstante, as insuficiências metodológicas na aplicação das plataformas digitais no período de 2020 a 2022, no Ensino Superior angolano e os ajustes curriculares realizados a raiz da pandemia de Covid-19, ainda limitam as apropriações dos conhecimentos para a solução de problemas. Objetivo. Diagnosticar a situação atual da gestão das TIC nas IES angolanas. Metodologia. A pesquisa foi desenvolvida com aplicação de um projeto descritivo, baseado no enfoque metodológico qualitativo-quantitativo com a aplicação do software IBM SPSS Statistics 20, para o processamento da informação. Resultados. A partir da aplicação, processamento e interpretação dos questionários aplicados a especialistas chegou-se a inferir que a utilização dos recursos tecnológicos pode melhorar as boas práticas educativas, enquanto a possibilidade de uma atenção personalizada aos estudantes, atendendo as carências e potencialidades observadas no processo de formação. Conclusões. A participação comprometida do coletivo dos investigadores permitiu, concluir que é imprescindível a realização de cursos de superação em tecnologias educativas para lograr melhores índices de eficácia no desenvolvimento do processo docente-educativo na Educação a Distância (EaD). Recomendação. Que se criem espaços para as práticas docentes virtuais nas IES angolanas.
