This is particularly due to Michel Foucault’s study of the microeconomic school of German Ordoliberalism in the late 1970s. In this way, Foucault approached competitive action from an economistic - regulatory market logic and left aside theories on the formation of entrepreneurial behavior necessary to beat the rival. The latter refers to strategic management and its concept of competitiveness, which condenses the idea of permanently strengthening companies to win. The aim here is to develop a genealogical scheme of business strategy to ask whether “competitiveness” and not “competition” is the reflexive principle of contemporary neo-liberalism or “reason of enterprise”. En la actualidad, parte de los estudios sociales que abordan el neoliberalismo como una racionalidad suele considerar que su principio general es la competencia. Esto se debe, particularmente, al estudio que Michel Foucault realizó, a fines de los setenta, de la escuela microeconómica del Ordoliberalismo alemán. De este modo, Foucault abordó la acción competitiva desde una lógica economicista/regulatoria de mercado y dejó de lado las teorías sobre la formación de conductas empresariales necesarias para vencer al rival. Con esto último, se hace referencia al management estratégico y su concepto de competitividad, que condensa la idea de fortalecer permanentemente a las empresas en pos de ganar. Aquí se busca desarrollar un esquema genealógico de la estrategia de negocios para preguntarse si es la “competitividad” y no la “competencia” el principio reflexivo del neoliberalismo o "razón de empresa" contemporánea. Atualmente, alguns estudos sociais que abordam o neoliberalismo como uma racionalidade tendem a considerar que seu princípio geral é a competição. Isso se deve particularmente ao estudo de Michel Foucault no final dos anos setenta sobre a escola microeconômica do ordoliberalismo alemão. Dessa forma, Foucault abordou a ação competitiva a partir de uma lógica economicista/regulatória do mercado e deixou de lado as teorias sobre a formação de comportamentos empresariais necessários para derrotar o rival. Este último refere-se à gestão estratégica e seu conceito de competitividade que condensa a ideia de fortalecer permanentemente as empresas em busca de vitórias. Busca-se aqui o desenvolvimento de um esquema genealógico da estratégia empresarial para perguntar se é a “competitividade” e não a “concorrência” o princípio reflexivo do neoliberalismo ou da “razão empresarial” contemporânea.
