El presente artículo aborda el referente teórico de la liberación, como las bases para definir a laética como el posicionamiento que realiza el ser humano ante su realidad. Dicha liberación sepropicia mediante un proceso de educación que le permite asumirse en medio de su contexto,conocerlo y transformarlo. El objetivo que se aborda en las siguientes líneas implica establecerun análisis de la función que puede cumplir la educación a fin de que propicie una formaciónética que promueva el respeto por los derechos humanos y el logro de condiciones para eldesarrollo de paz. Se recurre al referente teórico de la ética de la liberación, pues permite uncuestionamiento a la ideología que sustenta al modelo de sociedad dominante, estableciendoun vínculo con la educación, puesto que le permite a los seres humanos apropiarse de un compromisoque los conduzca a sentirse ciudadanos o ciudadanas con capacidad creadora. Con todolo anterior, se concluirá que es de vital importancia incrementar, a partir de la educación, unaética que reconozca que el ser humano asuma una actitud de empoderamiento ante su realidad,propiciando las condiciones para transformarla cuando atenta contra la paz y el irrespeto dela dignidad humana, de ahí la necesidad de implementar procesos educativos con base a estesustento epistemológico.AbstractThis article talks over the theoretical reference of liberation, which is the basis to define ethics as thesetting that makes people face their reality. This release is promoted through an educational process thatallows assuming it within his context, knowing it and transforming it. The objective that is addressedin the following lines involves establishing an analysis of the potential role of education, conducive to ethics training, which promotes respect for human rights and the achievement of conditions for thedevelopment of peace. It uses the theory of ethics regarding the release, because it accepts a challengeto the ideology that stands the parent model, establishing a link with education and how it develops inhuman beings the ability to make a commitment to lead them to be citizens who feel and react withcreativity. With all the above , it is concluded that is vital to increase from education an ethic thatchanges passive people into social subjects empowered with their reality , promoting the conditions totransform it, when it goes against the peace and disrespect of dignity , hence , the need to implementeducational processes based on this epistemological basis .KeywordsHuman Rights; peace; education; ethics; ethics of liberation; empowerment.
