The expected outcome is that all academic units will recognize the importance of integrated action to have a greater impact on improving the rights of children and adolescents. El presente artículo presenta la trayectoria, de forma descriptiva, de la elaboración de la Política de Niñez y Adolescencia y la importancia de su aprobación dentro de un marco de envejecimiento demográfico. Como resultados, se espera que todas las unidades académicas puedan valorar la importancia de una acción integrada para tener una mayor incidencia en el mejoramiento de los derechos de la niñez y la adolescencia. O presente artigo apresenta, de forma descritiva, a trajetória da elaboração da Política de Infância e Adolescência e a importância de sua aprovação dentro de um marco de envelhecimento demográfico. Como resultados, espera-se que todas as unidades acadêmicas possam valorizar a importância de uma ação integrada para ter uma maior incidência na melhoria dos direitos da infância e adolescência.
