Planificación cambio climático adaptación epistemología del cambio climático Calentamiento Global sociedad ambiente economía Planning climate change adaptation epistemology of climate change global warming society environment economy We present some brief epistemic reflections from the complex thinking of the researchers of the Research Center of the Faculty of Economics as a key actors in the forum of the National Plan for Adaptation to Climate Change Project of Panama (NAP Panama), established by the Ministry of Environment and the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP), a forum to discuss strategies for adaptation to climate change, bringing together academics, representatives of civil society and other key actors. This essay brings together economic, environmental and social elements in reference to the challenges of climate change, adaptation and mitigation, greenhouse effect, climate systems and global warming, the need for inclusive policies and community participation. It also calls for strengthening collaboration between all sectors to implement effective measures but noting some relevant considerations. Presentamos unas breves reflexiones epistémicas desde el pensamiento complejo de los investigadores del Centro de Investigaciones de la Facultad de Economía como actor clave en el foro del Proyecto del Plan Nacional de Adaptación al Cambio Climático de Panamá (NAP Panamá), establecido por el Ministerio de Ambiente y el Programa de las Naciones Unidas para el Medio Ambiente (PNUMA), un foro para discutir estrategias de adaptación al cambio climático, reuniendo académicos, representantes de la sociedad civil y otros actores clave.  Este ensayo recoge elementos económicos, ambientales y sociales en referencia a los desafíos del cambio climático, adaptación y mitigación, efecto invernadero, sistemas climáticos y calentamiento global, la necesidad de políticas inclusivas y participación comunitaria. De igual manera, hace un llamado a fortalecer la colaboración entre todos los sectores para implementar medidas efectivas, pero señalando algunas consideraciones pertinentes.
