There are certain barriers to the full participation of women both in the research itself and in management positions and as leaders, which is sometimes overcome with recognition of the researcher's career. In this regard, there are notable cases. However, in the same academy, women are still considered through different perspectives in relation to men: from the way they obtain their position or assignment, about their development in teaching, to criticism of their promotions or their different productions, not only by their classmates, but also by their colleagues. Covid-19, throughout the pandemic, has exacerbated many of these difficulties, not to mention what is happening in the life of the researcher in the private sphere. For this reason, the article will present the multiple difficulties that women researchers face, but it will also propose ways for them to achieve greater visibility and incorporation within research, such as accompaniment to young researchers, in order to achieve greater quantity, but also quality, around research done by women. Si bien la investigación en Ciencias Sociales conlleva ciertas dificultades propias del mismo proceso de investigación, como la recopilación de entrevistas o el trabajo de campo, también hay dificultades dentro de la misma academia. Existen ciertas barreras para la plena participación de las mujeres tanto en la misma investigación como en puestos de dirección y como lideresas, lo cual a veces se supera con el reconocimiento a la trayectoria de las investigadoras. Al respecto, hay notables casos. Sin embargo, en la misma academia, a las mujeres todavía se les considera a través de perspectivas distintas con relación a los hombres: desde la forma de obtener su plaza o adscripción, sobre su desenvolvimiento en la docencia, hasta la crítica hacia sus ascensos o sus distintas producciones, no sólo por parte de los compañeros, sino también de las compañeras. El covid-19, en todo el tiempo de pandemia, ha exacerbado muchas de estas dificultades, sin mencionar lo que sucede en la vida de la investigadora en el ámbito privado. Por ello, en el artículo se presentan las múltiples dificultades a las que se enfrentan las mujeres investigadoras, pero también se proponen formas para que logren una mayor visibilidad e incorporación dentro de la investigación, tal como el acompañamiento a jóvenes investigadoras, para así lograr una mayor cantidad, pero también calidad, en torno a la investigación hecha por mujeres Universidad de El Salvador.
