Populism on the left Turn on the right Collapse of the populist left Political power. 300 This approach analyzes a vision of leftist populism in Latin America during the first two decades of the 21st century, observing that after its rise to power, it has entered a phase that some analysts call "turning to the right" and others what they examine as the "collapse of the populist political left", after the experiences in Argentina, Brazil and other countries of the region. The populist Latin American left is not disappearing from the political map. His displacement of power centers requires him to examine his short- and medium-term projections, review his historical project and invest in a reengineering that facilitates the design of a pragmatic road map, in a complex scenario where the new right will seek to consolidate. Se ha entrado a una fase que algunos analistas denominan “giro hacia la derecha” y otros bajo este enfoque, analizan una visión del populismo de izquierda en América Latina durante las primeras dos décadas del Siglo XXI, observándose que luego de su ascenso al poder, examinan como el “colapso de la izquierda política de corte populista”, luego de las experiencias sucedidas en Argentina, Brasil y otros países de la región. La izquierda latinoamericana de corte populista no está desapareciendo del mapa político. Su desplazamiento de los centros de poder, le exige examinar sus proyecciones de corto y mediano plazo, revisar su proyecto histórico y apostar por una reingeniería que le facilite diseñar una hoja de ruta pragmática, en un escenario complejo donde la nueva derecha pretenderá consolidarse.
