In this work three workshops are described and evaluate by environmental subject matter realized in the Children’s Library Miriam Brenes Alvarez, ongoing project of the School of Library Science at the National University, Costa Rica. The three workshops were held during 2014 and attended two assistant and student volunteers. Due to the young age of the participants, the perception of mothers on their children’s behavior was assessed. one open and structured in order to meet the other closed Likert scale of 5 values socio-economic environment of the participants and to assess changes perceived by their mothers in the behavior itself. It was concluded that the use of methodological techniques based on leisureand recreational activities with the use of learning techniques inquiry, which facilitates the retention of knowledge and its implementation in children from early childhood. En este trabajo se describen y evalúan tres talleres con temática ambiental realizados en la Biblioteca Infantil Miriam Álvarez Brenes, proyecto permanente de la Escuela de Bibliotecología de la Universidad Nacional, Costa Rica. Los tres talleres se realizaron durante el año 2014 y se contó con la participación de dos estudiantes asistente y voluntarios. Debido a la corta edad de los participantes, se evaluó la percepción de las madres sobre el comportamiento de sus hijos. Paraello, se generaron dos cuestionarios: uno abierto y estructurado con el objetivo de conocer el entorno socio-económico de los participantes y otro cerrado de escala Likert de 5 valores para evaluar los cambios percibidos por sus madres en el comportamiento propiamente dicho. Se concluyó que el uso de técnicas metodológicas basadas en actividades lúdico-recreativas junto al uso de técnicas de aprendizaje por indagación, que facilita la retención de conocimientos y su puesta en práctica en población infantil de temprana edad. Este trabalho descreve e avalia três workshops sobre temas ambientais realizados na Biblioteca Infantil Miriam Álvarez Brenes, um projeto permanente da Escola de Biblioteconomia da Universidade Nacional da Costa Rica. As três oficinas foram realizadas em 2014 com a participação de dois estudantes assistentes e voluntários. Devido à idade jovem dos participantes, foi avaliada a percepção das mães sobre o comportamento de seus filhos. ParaForam gerados dois questionários: um aberto e estruturado com o objetivo de conhecer o ambiente socioeconômico dos participantes e outro fechado com escala Likert de 5 valores para avaliar as mudanças percebidas por suas mães no próprio comportamento. Concluiu-se que a utilização de técnicas metodológicas baseadas em atividades lúdico-recreativas, aliada à utilização de técnicas de aprendizagem por investigação, facilita a retenção do conhecimento e sua implementação na população da primeira infância.
