And we talked about chore and no discipline because the Library is, by its very nature interdisciplinary, perhaps the least absorbed the disciplines, the less inbred, which makes it a transdisciplinary, the most upside out of herself. Si hay un profesional que requiere una actualización constante de su quehacer, ese es el bibliotecólogo. Y hablamos de quehacer y no disciplina, porque la Bibliotecología es, por su naturaleza misma, interdisciplinaria, quizás la menos ensimismada de las disciplinas, la menos endogámica, lo que hace de ella una transdisciplina, la más volcada hacia fuera de sí misma.
