For this, the author is interested in presenting what have been the main contributions of the School of Library, Documentation and Information of the National University between 19770 and 2005, poses a series of questions about the transformations that has undergone this academic unit and answers them in a way that reflects chronologically the development of the career. La labor del profesional en bibliotecología está centrado en investigar la información en sus conductas, producción, colección, organización, diseminación, almacenamiento, acceso y recuperación para su posterior uso. Para esto, la autora se interesa en presentar cuales han sido los principales aportes de la Escuela de Bibliotecología, Documentación e Información de La Universidad Nacional entre 19770 y 2005, se plantea una serie de preguntas sobre las transformaciones que ha sufrido la esta unidad académica y les da respuesta de manera que se refleja cronológicamente el desarrollo de la carrera.
