However, it carries within the responsibility of making a good use of it, in means of copyright, guarding the existing legislation in Costa Rica and the international agreements in which the country takes part. Legislation allows, under certain premises, the use of digitalization. Nevertheless, it’s necessary to define the parameters in which these premises will be applied, so it’s used correctly. La digitalización es actualmente un mecanismo muy importante para que la información llegue a quien la necesite, gracias principalmente a la democratización del acceso a Internet. Sin embargo, conlleva la responsabilidad de hacer un uso adecuado de ella desde la óptica del derecho de autor, respetando la legislación existente en Costa Rica y los convenios internacionales a que se ha adherido. La legislación permite, bajo ciertas condiciones, el uso de la digitalización; no obstante, es necesario definir los parámetros en que esas condiciones van a aplicar, para que no se corrompa su uso. A digitalização é atualmente um mecanismo muito importante para que a informação chegue a quem dela necessita, graças principalmente à democratização do acesso à Internet. No entanto, implica a responsabilidade de fazer uso adequado do mesmo sob a perspectiva do direito autoral, respeitando a legislação existente na Costa Rica e as convenções internacionais às quais aderiu. A legislação permite, sob certas condições, a utilização da digitalização; no entanto, é necessário definir os parâmetros em que estas condições se aplicarão, para que a sua utilização não seja corrompida.
