This study had a quantitative approach and was descriptive; the data collection was done through a digital questionnaire applied to 189 graduates, of which 105 answered the instrument. As main results and conclusions of this research, it is possible to highlight the achievement and organization of the updated contact data of the graduates to facilitate the communication and linkage of both parties. Likewise the need for a continuous professional updating plan for these people that considers the topics of interest that were identified and the determination of a series of aspects that this School must take into account for the realization of strategic alliances in order to facilitate new initiatives that strengthen both academic training and the joint realization of projects according to the interests of both the graduates of the Career and the EBDI. El objetivo de esta investigación es fortalecer el vínculo entre la Escuela de Bibliotecología, Documentación e Información (EBDI) de la Universidad Nacional de Costa Rica y las personas graduadas de la carrera a partir del empleo de diferentes recursos y estrategias. Este estudio tuvo un enfoque cuantitativo y fue de tipo descriptivo; la recolección de los datos se hizo por medio de un cuestionario digital aplicado a 189 personas graduadas de las cuales 105 respondieron el instrumento. Como resultados y conclusiones principales de esta investigación, es posible resaltar el logro y organización de los datos de contacto actualizados de las personas graduadas para facilitar la comunicación y vinculación de ambas partes. Asimismo, se determinó la necesidad de un plan de actualización profesional continua para estas personas que considere los tópicos de interés identificados y otros aspectos que esta Escuela debe tomar en cuenta para la realización de alianzas estratégicas y para facilitar nuevas iniciativas que fortalezcan tanto la formación académica como la realización conjunta de proyectos con las personas graduadas de la carrera y de la EBDI. O objectivo desta investigação é reforçar a ligação entre a Escola de Biblioteconomia, Documentação e Informação (EBDI) da Universidade Nacional da Costa Rica e os licenciados da carreira a partir da utilização de diferentes recursos e estratégias. Este estudo teve uma abordagem quantitativa e descritiva; a recolha de dados foi feita através de um questionário digital aplicado a 189 licenciados, dos quais 105 responderam ao instrumento. Como principais resultados e conclusões desta investigação, é possível destacar a realização e a organização dos contactos actualizados dos diplomados para facilitar a comunicação e a ligação de ambas as partes.
