AMBIENTALES120142019-12-05T19:34:22Z Methodological Proposal for the Training of Local Naturalist Guides Propuesta metodológica para la formación de guías naturalistas locales González, Ángela Turismo; Guías naturalistas This research involved a twenty months fieldwork (2003-2004) conducted in the community of Siberia, Páramo District, Perez Zeledón Cantón, San José Province. This community is located on Kilometer 99.5 of the Intermerican South Road. The research consisted in preparing and giving a Training Course to twenty-three members of the community in order that they become Local Nature Guides. The experience provided the basis for designing a methodological proposal aimed at the training of Local Nature Guides under similar conditions. The results were focused on answering the following questions: where to teach?, who to teach?, what to teach?, how to teach?, and lastly, how to evaluate the overall learning experience?. The methodology that was employed allowed attendants to obtain the necessary knowledge and skills to perform successfully as Local Nature Guides. Se da cuenta de un trabajo de campo de un año y ocho meses (2003-2004) realizado en la comunidad Siberia (sur de San José, Costa Rica) consistente en preparar e impartir un curso para formar 23 miembros de la comunidad como guías naturalistas locales. La experiencia sirvió de base para realizar una propuesta metodológica con el fin de formar guías locales en contextos similares. Los resultados, que aquí se explicitan, se enfocaron a responder a las preguntas: ¿dónde enseñar?, ¿a quién enseñar?, ¿qué enseñar?, ¿cómo enseñar? y ¿cómo evaluar el aprendizaje? La metodología empleada permitió que los participantes adquirieran conocimientos y habilidades para desempeñarse adecuadamente como guías naturalistas locales y generó en ellos cambios sobre la visión y el modo de relacionarse con la naturaleza.
