| Sumario: | La presente propuesta de artículo conformada por 5 grandes apartados, sustentado en el uso de una metodología cualitativa y el empleo de imágenes provenientes de la revista La Nación, órgano difusor del Partido Acción Nacional (PAN), pretende en reconstruir el trabajo editorial sobre los sucesos que desembocaron en la matanza de estudiantes mexicanos el 2 de octubre de 1968 en la Plaza de las Tres Culturas en Tlatelolco, ciudad de México. Por otra parte, se busca explicar la ideología de dirigentes y el propio instituto político representativo de la derecha mexicana y las circunstancias históricas y sociales en que se encontraban en esa época que contribuyan a comprender la postura asumida por el PAN sobre los eventos ocurridos ese día y que visualmente se difundieron en La Nación.

The present proposal of an article consisting of 5 large sections, based on the use of a qualitative methodology and the use of images from the magazine La Nación, a disseminating body of the National Action Party (PAN), aims to reconstruct the editorial work on the events which resulted in the killing of Mexican students on October 2, 1968 at the Plaza de las Tres Culturas in Tlatelolco, Mexico City. On the other hand, it is sought to explain the ideology of leaders and the representative political institute of the Mexican right and the historical and social circumstances in which they were at that time that contribute to understanding the position taken by the PAN on the events that happened that day. and that visually they spread in La Nación.
