It is proposed the sustainable uses of natural resources, through a strategy of use, management and conservation of the ecosystems. Este artículo tiene como objetivo conocer y potenciar, de manera sostenible, los recursos biológicos y ecológicos del Proyecto hidroeléctrico de Toro 2. Para ello, se realizó una investigación en donde se hizo un inventario de aves, mamíferos y plantas, para conocer si el sitio reúne las condiciones biológicas de atracción turística; a la vez se conoció la opinión de los pobladores de la zona, lo que generó información pertinente para la propuesta de aprovechamiento sostenible de los recursos naturales, tal como la estrategia de uso, manejo y conservación de sus ecosistemas.
