Therefore, the field exploration is carried out through the application of a survey and an interview to the study subjects. Survey data will be assessed using multivariate statistical techniques to test and estimate causal relationships based on statistical data and qualitative assumptions about causality. They are interpreted and based on the results of the interviews through case studies. The results lead to the conclusion that the English language teaching model in the Regional Center responds to conventional and innovative learning techniques and is based on the exaltation of the interrelation and self-determination of the learner. In addition, it endorses extrinsic motivation, which beyond the physical and cognitive capacities of the learner, develops a positive attitude to overcome the obstacles that arise in the teaching-learning process of the language under study; as well as situations and problems inherent in the way to reach the goals. El objetivo de la investigación es evaluar las dimensiones de las técnicas de aprendizaje y la motivación en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje del idioma inglés, como segunda lengua en el Centro Regional Universitario de San Miguelito. Por lo tanto, la exploración de campo se realiza a través de la aplicación de una encuesta y una entrevista a los sujetos de estudio. Los datos de las encuestas se valorarán a través de técnicas estadísticas multivariante para probar y estimar relaciones causales a partir de datos estadísticos y suposiciones cualitativas sobre la causalidad. Se interpretan y se fundamentan con los resultados de las entrevistas por medio de estudio de casos. Los resultados conducen a la conclusión que el modelo de enseñanza aprendizaje del idioma inglés en el Centro Regional, responde a las técnicas de aprendizaje convencionales e innovadoras y se fundamenta en la exaltación de la interrelación y autodeterminación del educando. Además, avala la motivación extrínseca, que más allá de las capacidades físicas y cognitivas del educando, desarrolla la actitud positiva para poder superar los obstáculos que se presenten en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje del idioma en estudio; así como situaciones y problemas inherentes en el camino para alcanzar las metas.
