Throughout the history of education, religious education (RE) has assumed theoretical-methodological perspectives of a confessional, interfaith and non-confessional nature. The study points out possibilities - exercises for/of decolonialities in the RE, which recognize epistemic and methodological diversities at the same time that they challenge and affect the teaching of/for/with religious diversity in the Brazilian territory. El contexto del territorio brasileño está marcado por colonialidades, debido a los procesos de colonización. Estos han impuesto, sobre la educación formal, prácticas que reproducen una visión mundial hegemónica de los grupos colonizadores. La enseñanza religiosa, a lo largo de la historia de la educación, ha admitido los planos teórico-metodológicos: confesional, interconfesional y no confesional. El estudio señala las posibilidades de decolonialidades en la enseñanza religiosa en el territorio brasileño y reconoce las diversidades epistémicas y metodológicas que, a la vez, interrogan e influyen la enseñanza de la diversidad religiosa, para esta y con esta en el territorio brasileño. O contexto do território brasileiro é marcado por colonialidades decorrentes de processos de colonização, que impingiram na educação formal, práticas reprodutoras da visão de mundo hegemônica dos colonizadores. Ao longo da história da educação o ensino religioso (ER) assumiu perspectivas teórico-metodológicas de cunho confessional, interconfessional e não confessional. O estudo sinaliza possibilidades – exercícios para/de decolonialidades no ER, que reconhecem diversidades epistêmicas e metodológicas ao mesmo tempo em que, interpelam e afetam o ensino da/para/com a diversidade religiosa no território brasileiro.
