This essay analyzes part of her poetic and narrative work. Victoria Urbano (1926-1984) es una reconocida pero poco estudiada escritora costarricense que vivió en Estados Unidos, donde desarrolló su actividad académica en una universidad en Texas y fue una promotora de la literatura femenina.
