The journal is available to teachers and students of the Faculty of Economic Sciences and other national or foreign institutions who wish to publish original and unpublished scientific articles, it is free and open access to readers. Revista Ciencias Económicas was born as a necessity of the present stage of scientific development of the UES; it publishes scientific articles in the areas of knowledge of the Economic Sciences, including the specialties of Economics, Business Administration, Public Accounting, International Marketing and the areas related to the graduate programs that the Faculty has. The journal is published every six months and the articles are submitted to double-blind peer review. La Revista Ciencias Económicas es la revista de la Facultad de Ciencias Económicas de la Universidad de El Salvador (UES). La revista está a la disposición de los docentes y estudiantes de la Facultad de Ciencias Económicas y de otras instituciones nacionales o extranjeras que deseen publicar artículos científicos originales e inéditos, es gratuita y de acceso abierto a los lectores. Revista Ciencias Económicas nace como una necesidad de la presente etapa del desarrollo científico de la UES; Publica artículos científicos en las áreas del conocimiento de las Ciencias Económicas, incluyendo las especialidades de Economía, Administración de Empresas, Contaduría Pública, Mercadeo Internacional y las áreas fines a los posgrados que la Facultad posee. La revista se publica de manera semestral, los artículos se someten a evaluación por pares en doble ciego.
