This study mainly aims to describe and analyze the importance that students and teachers, as key players in the educational process, attribute to the approach of Human Rights during their training and in their professional practice in primary and secondary education. For this purpose, the fundamental bases were the experiences, perceptions, and evaluations of the individuals who are part of these programs. El siguiente trabajo presenta los resultados de un proceso de investigación desarrollada con los programas de formación del profesorado en ciencias sociales de las universidades Pedagógica Nacional y Distrital de Bogotá, el cual tuvo como objetivos describir y analizar la relevancia que les otorgan estudiantes y profesorado, en tanto protagonistas del acto educativo, al acercamiento a los Derechos Humanos durante la etapa de formación y en el ejercicio profesional en la educación básica y media. Para tal fin, se tomaron como bases fundamentales las experiencias, percepciones y valoraciones de los sujetos que hacen parte de estos programas. O seguinte trabalho apresenta os resultados de um processo de pesquisa desenvolvido com os programas de formação de professores em ciências sociais das universidades Pedagógica Nacional e Distrital de Bogotá, que teve como objetivos descrever e analisar a relevância que estudantes e professores atribuem, como protagonistas do ato educativo, à abordagem dos Direitos Humanos durante a etapa de formação e no exercício profissional na educação básica e média. Para esse fim, foram consideradas como bases fundamentais as experiências, percepções e avaliações dos indivíduos que fazem parte desses programas.
