The important thing is to be prepared for social changes, to be aware that our students have new needs that are linked to ICTs (Technology, Information and Communication), the role of the supervisor will continue to be the search for improvement of the continuous learning processes and to become aware of the needs of the students and guide them in the new advances. La supervisión educativa se encuentra hoy día sumergida en lo que llamamos sociedad del conocimiento, relacionada estrechamente con los cambios vertiginosos de las innovaciones, tecnologías, comunicación e investigación, que afectan directamente a los supervisores, docentes y centros educativos y por ende a los estudiantes, nos hallamos en un mundo digitalizado, es por ello, que el supervisor debe estar en ese contante perfeccionamiento, ante el mundo digitalizado, que adquiera la capacidad técnica y personal, para el acompañamiento a los actores del sistema educativo. Lo importante es estar preparados para los cambios sociales, tener conciencia de que nuestros estudiantes poseen nuevas necesidades que van ligadas a las TIC´s (Tecnología, Información y Comunicación), el papel del supervisor seguirá siendo el de la búsqueda de la mejora de los procesos continuos de aprendizaje y sensibilizarse sobre las insuficiencias de los estudiantes y guiarlos en los nuevos avances.
